PROFITOWI is a Polish financial distribution startup that has been operating in the market for over 3 years. With a team of 300 experienced advisors, they assist both individuals and businesses in finding the best insurance or financial solutions. When the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) introduced new regulations for insurance agents regarding client assessment process and GDPR requirements, they needed a new custom client needs analysis system. Additionally, PROFITOWI wanted to improve their whole client assessment process. As each of the advisors was using manual tools like Excel or Word, the additional goal was to standardize and automate this process. PROFITOWI had previously collaborated with Pretius on creating a custom sales commission system and were satisfied with the results, so they chose this vendor for the new project.
One of the key stages of the new project was the needs analysis, supplemented by project workshops. Following these workshops, Pretius proposed new functionalities (in addition to those presented by Profitowi in the initial requirements) making sure that the application would be better aligned with the demands of insurance companies. Before the actual development, Pretius provided clickable prototypes in Figma which allowed to refine the UX and UI design of the application at an early stage and ensure that the application was tailored to the needs of the end-user. After that, Pretius developed a new software solution that delivers a list of recommended products for agents to offer to a customer based on a previously completed survey. The system also allows advisors to add scanned documents and collect marketing consent from clients. Last but not least, Profitowi were provided with an intuitive dashboard for presenting data such as a list of recently completed and ongoing analyses. Integration with an internal CRM system, SMS gateway, and email service was also conducted.
The new software not only allowed Profitowi to meet the requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, but it also streamlined the entire sales process in the company. The analysis conducted in the system assists 300 advisors in recommending a wide range of products from over 72 insurance companies. It facilitates the sale of insurance to new clients as well as upselling to 50 000 existing ones.
